hettler.tüllmann is the collaboration between designer Katja Hettler and architect Jula Tüllmann. After many years studying and working abroad, including Paris and New York City, Katja and Jula returned to Berlin in 2005 to found their practice.

Focusing on furniture, accessory and interior design, hettler.tüllman’s work integrates sustainability, traditional craftsmanship, and a curiosity for sourcing new materials. The studio works closely with small businesses and artisans in Berlin and Miami, as well as with NGOs and cooperatives in Malawi and Ethiopia.

First shown at hvíla editions' launch exhibition 'Tangible Beauties' during Berlin Art Week 2021, the Nebule lamps are one of hettler.tüllmann’s more recent projects together with Firew Konjo and his weaving cooperative Janocraft in Arba Minch, Ethiopia.
